Multipen Enclosure - Wild ARC
This multi-functional pen can be split in two and used for several species for pre-release conditioning. The enclosure was upgraded in 2019 to include a soft mesh screening on inner walls and ceiling to increase its versatility and allow flight conditioning of bats and insectivorous birds like swallows who not only need to fly well but also be able to catch flying insects before release. Annual maintenance of the enclosure includes deep cleaning, replacement of gravel, plus any repairs to screening, nest boxes, and perching materials. Annual sponsorship will support these maintenance costs plus its water and electrical services, to ensure the patients housed within receive the highest standard of care.
Sponsorship supporters will have their name or that of an honouree displayed on the enclosure for one year and receive a certificate displaying their support.
