The two indoor avian wards serve as nurseries for many species of baby and juvenile birds in the process of development and before advancing to the next stage of their care in larger outdoor enclosures. Each ward is equipped with a sink, counter space, and specially-designed enclosures to house the many different species of songbirds admitted to Wild ARC each year.
Annual maintenance needs include deep cleaning, repairs to enclosures and screening, and replacement of specialized lighting. Annual sponsorship will support annual maintenance costs and supporters will have their name or that of an honouree displayed for one year as well as receive a certificate displaying their support.
